i finally went for ballet today!!but i'm still thinking abt whether to take the inter exam or not.....
4 lessons per week!!! its impossible!!! but i'm afraid next yr i will be more busy....=( haizz...

XINMIN CHINESE DANCE GOLD WITH HONOURS!!!

I cant believe it larhx! Our hard work finally paid off….
I shall start from the beginning…

We went to ask mr chia and mdm liew, after assembly, whether we can like ask all the Chinese dancers to meet at the parade square before they announce the result… then mdm liew just said

“oh… you all are getting your results today…. Hmmm… okay no problem… that sounds like a very good idea…”

She was so supportive of us lahx!! She rox man!!

Then, before even the dancers knew the results, this was roughly wat happened…

Mdm gwee, who was the one who went to collect the results, smsed mrs lim, once she got the results… then I think mrs lim went to tell mdm liew or something. Mdm liew was so happy and could not belief that it was real. So, she went to call mdm gwee and double checked….

Then, mdm liew asked mr chia to make announcement for all dancers to come down…

I rushed out of the class immediately and met peiying at the corridor there…both of us were ultra nervous and on the verge of crying liao leh!!

(sorry my eng sux today, cos I’m 2 excited and happy!)

Then, we both ran down together…

Omg lah! Then when we were there mdm liew and mr chia looked so sad! Purposely 1 lor! Make us feel so scared… it was so nice to see all the dancers again!

Then a lot of teachers, including mrs lim and mrs ng was outside the staffroom… then mrs lim was like crying liao larhx! So we all thought that we only got gold and some started crying…

Then mdm liew said “Xinmin chinese dance has been awarded … the gold .. with honours award”

We were like screaming that time and every thing was like so magical and miraculous!

Everyone was like crying..
The feeling just cant be expressed in words…

And mrs lim came down and we started hugging her…

Then we did the 3 cheers…

And everyone was hugging each other, crying tears of joy! The scene was just so touching!

Then we went to the centre of the parade sq and screamed “XINMIN CHINESE DANCE GOLD WITH HONOURS!!!”

It was super cool larhx… thank you for sharing this experience with me!!!

Then we stressed a lot of ppl out lorhx choir ppl, guzheng ppl., eldds ppl…

And according to ruimin… we touched a lot of pro dancers heart (you shld noe who are the people)… ;)… hehehex

Finally, a happy post…=) I feel very happy today… =)

I don’t really know why… maybe its because nothing bad happened to me today…for once=)

Being happy is good right? =) …. Ok I shan’t be too high…

Today is Tuesday… and there is no dance... I miss dance already… one month without dance is impossible… it’s a good thing that ballet is still on… or I really don’t know how to survive man!....

Tomorrow, we are getting our results… no matter what we get, I will still be proud of Xinmin Chinese Dance…

Who cares if that mean old man doesn’t give us a Gold With Honours? Its their loss if they don’t get to watch us for the SYF opening or closing ceremony anyway! Hehex…=)

At the beginning, everyone thought that it seemed impossible for xms chi dance to get a GWH…

I remember the times when even zou lao shi felt that we could only get a COP…

I remember the times when we were so heck care abt this SYF…

I remember how we use to look forward so much to the end of each dance practice

I remember the times when we complained so much about our muscle aches, burses and other minor injuries

I remember the times when zou lao shi use to complain and compare that we were so slack, unlike our seniors

I remember the times when we were told that we were the worst badge of SYF dancers…

I remember how we had no confidence in ourselves

I remember how disappointed zou lao shi was, with us…

But…

As we became more and more bonded...

As SYF drew near…

I remember the times that we use to complain how little time we have to practice, compared to the other schools

I remember how I use to dread the end of each dance lesson

I remember how upset I was when zou lao shi said my movements were not correct

I remember how much I cried…

I remember how touched I was when I heard the positive comments, even if it was just a ‘well done’ by a teacher or madam liew.

I remember how much I cherished every moment during the last practice…

I remember how touched the dancers were after the SYF…

I remember how happy we were, screaming and shouting at the parade square

Ahhh…. I want to have another SYF dance practice….

I want to enjoy that moment a gain….

I want to feel the bond of the dancers, striving towards a common goal….

Today, I did the interview for the SL nominees.. it was a brand new experience for me… and I think that it was rather fun…. Haha…

We took votes, to determine if someone pass or fail…

But the results haven’t been announce yet…

But, to those who fail, there will always be a 2nd chance… so don’t worry! =)

SYF is over… I cant believe it.. it was like damn quick larhx…

I love Xinmin Chinese dance troupe a lot a lot a lot…. We are so bonded… think I shall start from the beginning

I woke up at 5.45…

Then went to limin’s house for the braids thing… first, I left home late… at 6.15, when I’m suppose to reach at 6.15.
Then, I went to the wrong block- 533 instead of 553 -.-

So we were kinda late larhx…

When we reached school, we found out that we tied our hair wrongly, cos, it was too big… In other words, I went to limin’s hse 4 no reason… nvm-.-

Then we wear our costume and my foundation smudged on my costume WA LAO! So unlucky leh… so I had to spent time removing the foundation on my costume with makeup remover…

We put on our makeup… it was nice lah...esp the eye 1…

Then we ate and, put lipstick and the hair thing….

We went to the hall to practice aftthat… and borrowed some shoes from the ppl having PE, to mark out the stage… thanx man! We made them wait for their shoes leh… they sacrifice their recess! So nice…

(my eng sux, cos I’m nt in a gd mood sry… but I shall force myself to blog on…)

Then, we set off 4 NUS….

The school after us was like saying we COPY their costume larh! Pls lah… ours really nicer lorhx… nevermind….
We did some warm ups and we cheer…

The school b4 us was using the smoke machine… thus, making the floor slippery….

But we still managed, cos our sch hall the floor is much more slippery than the stage one…

At the backstage I was like forgetting all my moves liao… cause I was too nervous… it was super scary lar! But I still managed with the music…

We really tried our best… made a few mistakes… but mrs lim told us that gold shldnt be a problem… it’s the matter of gold or gold with honours!....

Every1 was sleeping on the bus, cos we were too tired…

When we reach school we were screaming like crazy ppl in the parade square lah… then we threw all our jackets

We webt to the foyer to take a grp photo… and ppl were like applauding us…. So cool!

Tomorrow is SYF… and I fell on my butt very hard... I didn’t even use my hands as support! Hahax.. now, my tail bone is swollen… but it is recovering… I should be able to dance… I hope peiying is ok…

I hope she will still sent me to limin’s house tomorrow morning…

I am very, very, very, very sorry, NJL, Charis, Meiqi n Yuxin…. I really did not know that the match would be so long… n I forgot to bring my hp… so tats why I didn’t reply…

I saw the video that you all dedicated to me, cause I couldn’t find lee lao shi to return the cam to… and I know that I really missed out on a lot a lot of fun… but I really cant help it. That day that you all went to study, I had dance. Today, I went for the volleyball thingy.

I really wished I could spend more time with you all… cause I really, really do feel happy when I’m with you all. And it is very seldom that I am happy nowadays. You know that right? I really forget about all my worries when I’m with you. And I can confine almost everything when I’m with you all.

Charis- I’m so sorry I get pissed so often. I will try to be a better partner. I really do treasure this friendSHEEP a lot! Thanks for teaching me. I really not in the mood to blog today… but guess wat ppl! I have blogged for 4 consecutive days leh!! Hehex it’s a big achievement to me! so ppl, please tag when you visit, to give me more support!

Happy bdae weiyang!

- today, after school, I found out that it was compulsory for all BIO members to go for the vball match, and the dancers was not excuse(Joey, Peiying, alanna all went)
The cheering was super pathetic, and the C boys were trashed… its so stupid lahx! So pissed off! A teacher, refused to let us have cheer training, b4 the match. Alanna actually asked for earlier dismissal, but the idea was rejected. So, the only cheer the student knew was the chant- Xinmin, Xinmin (2claps) …. And then the students were all complaining that they were not doing other cheers, thus they refused to cheer, and our voices were drowned by the other school’s…
But, I would like to thank all the peeps that actually cheered…=) u really helped…

- tomorrow, the school is not sending any people except some SLs to cheer for our volleyball B boys match for the 3rd and 4th position… and they refused to let some SLs go because they said that there was too many peeps liao… so I think there will be only abt 25 peeps altogether?! They don’t let me go… but I’m going anyway! Our voices are so going to be overpowered by the other schools again… I hate the way SLB runs sometimes! Wat the hell!

- toady I was seriously pissed off becos acordibg to some peeps, the sls are too blame for the disorganized state the ppl were in just now.. F**K lah! Sry I’m veri pissed right now..

Then, Ruimin got stomach ache! It was quite bad, but she still dance…
So we ran down to get an ice-pack and a hot-water-pack 4 peiying and ruimin respectively…

I’m going to limin’s hse early in the morning on mon, to let her maid do French-plaids(sp?) on my hair( all dancers must do…

Looking back at my ‘DREAM’ post, I feel tt its kinda lame n cool… hehex… I like my dream…(obviously!) but I know that I really need to get out of my lalaland, and face reality… hehex…

So today, after school, I went to paint banner for homecoming day… yay! It was kind of fun lah...
We had a really hard time opening the tins haha, think we almost spoilt the keys we used… oops! Hehex… a lot of ppl did not turn up for the painting banner thing…
Where is the class spirit!? =( never mind

the background is black and we painted the wordings white first…
then, jiawen did the blending… juz as I thought that jiawen was really doing a good job (for once), I left 4 dance…
but when I popped by to check 20 minutes later, I found out that that HE HAD PS BELVERLIN N REGINA TO DO THE PAINTING ALL BY THEMSELVES! So bad lors… ungentlemanly hahax…=)

I couldn’t do anything so I went for dance…

Dance was okay today…. Except for the fact that I accidentally tripped Vanessa… I’m sooosooo sry….=( srysry!
Then Mrs Ng told us what we had to bring n do on mon (SYF DAY!) …. N we stick some stuff on our costume pants…. It was quite fun lah actually… =)
The last time we dance, miss phan, ms lim/mrs ho , mdm gwee, mrs ng, n some badminton gals watch us dance…

phan lao shi say she very touched by our dance….hahax=)LOL

n the badminton ppl were saying that the dance is abt love between.. never mind… veri funny… but I don’t think I should say here…. Haha… then they also kept on urging us to smile at that that part of the dance… haha…they were so cute… dance rox!

2 more practices to SYF!!! Ahhh
.. oh ya .. band got gold for their SYF today… I heard that they could have gotten gold with honours, but they minus ten marks for their presentation, cause they totally screwed up their formation for their entrance… =( … heard that xms band was the only band that was awarded gold, for the whole day today… well done!

I really hope that we wont screw up on that day… today lao shi told us that we must relax n use our heart to dance… we should not think of the prize, or we will not do well… I guess its becos our mind will be on something else if we think for the prize…. So peeps pls dance ur hearts out….

CHINESE DANCE SHALL DO XMS PROUD AND GET OUR FIRST GOLD WITH HONOURS!!!

Ohya, and ruimin n shiting were like super happy that SYF will not be their last performance… because they will be called back to perform the SYF dance end of the year..=) they didn’t believe me @ first.. but they double confirmed with mrs ng… lao shi got say b4 what… haha nvm =)

I asked a number of dancers to come 2 to haunted hse…

And EBIRD is bringing nathanael,(some1 nt from xms) to our haunted house too! Yay… let freak ppl out.. haha lolx…

Dance today was absolutely disappointing…
it’s my fault, I totally screwed up...

Why? Why?! Cant I do it right for once?...
Why must I always screw up the whole dance?!
Why can’t I do it?!
Why can’t I be like the others?!...
This is like the 2nd time I cant find the centre line 4 e triangle part… and lao shi made us do it again.. I’m so sorry people.. its just that I really demoralized right now… I’m so sorry I keep screwing up… I really don’t know what to do…

to those people whom I accidentally ignored or if I did not laugh at your jokes, I’m sorry… I really didn’t want to cry during the dance… … I’m sorry… but I promise I will really try my very very best to not screw up again…

ruimin talked to us today… I was really very disappointing to hear her say that we all were slacking n that we totally pissed lao shi off today.. she was like so totally quiet,

what seriously made me sad was the fact that the 2nd time I screwed up (I blanked out at the yuemin, me n ruimin part)… she did not even scold me for that… I wish she did… it was so obvious that she saw it! And she did not even say anything… has she given up hope on me?... I wish she had scolded me… I’m very sorry to have let you down, just 3 more lessons away from the syf…

pls tell me we still have hope dancers… I really need to hear that all our hard work will pay off, right now…

today after sch.. I had to rushy for the motivator’s training.. OIC couldn’t make it.. so basically, I had explain the stuff on the PowerPoint slides, which I have never seen b4… it was… er.. Challenging… but it was gd experience…

Sports day is over..
I did nt win ani prize.. but still got a bronze 4 1.5 during e heats.. but most importantly ppl… SCORPION WON!!! Cuda by 1 point..hahax sry charis

I shall sit on the judging panel of the ballet syf competitions for secondary sch or JC..
I will spent my free time (excludes performance practices), lying among the flowers(no insects!) flying kites, milking cows..(er… ), dancing in the hills, full of flowers, running down hills n enjoying the breeze, sitting on swings, looking back at my childhood, catching butterflies,screaming, visiting xms.. DANCING with my friends, travelling around e world with my friends, laughing our hearts out... life will rock..

But nw.. I’m trapped in my hse, suck with my homework..(which I’m so behind) .. haizz… I cant even work 2wards my dream! I dun think it will ever cm true.. wake up NICOLE!! Nvm.. toking abt my dream was nice…

i currently @ indonesia.. my cousin hse.. =) ya.. i like tis part of the trip most .. cause e rest of it lyke totally sux..... this is why...
i was travelling fr punchak (sp?) 2 jakarta yesterdae... then got caught in a jam 4 like 6-7hrs.. wif so damn limited space... n my bro is like vomiting every 30min or so... the car stinked like shit n can open window a bit onli cause raining.... the journey totally sucked like hell lors..
. then i had 2 use a sucky toilet... something like e toilets in yunnan ..... then when my granddad went 2 e toilet .. he fell.. and he has brain cancer..!!! he like so damn weak lors.. his head was bleeding slightly.... itwaseworsexmasieverhad!

so...life nowadays...hm...one word...boring!!...each week u wake up either read sleep eat play...actually life at sch is not so bad afterall...haiz..come to think of it i rather miss it...

3)Went 2 cycle 2gether, n njl n charis fell down n hurt thier knees, sori(cant help but feel guilty) they hurt their knees like in the same place, juz diff legs, n their wounds r similar, cause the also had slight injuries on their foot ...haha lols
4) my granddad sent them home...
